Our client is hiring a Payroll Analyst to support a rapidly growing team as the company moves toward commercial launch. You’ll work across multiple pay groups, support Workday Payroll, handle tax questions, and take part in key month-end and year-end cycles.

Responsibilities
Daily Expectations for Your Role

  • Support month-end close and reconciliation activities across multiple pay groups

  • Research and resolve payroll tax issues; coordinate amendment requests with ADP

  • Lead year-end deliverables, including W-2 review and validation

  • Serve as a Workday Payroll and Time & Absence functional resource

  • Participate in cross-functional project meetings and provide payroll-related input

  • Review and audit semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll runs

  • Assist with global payroll processes as required

  • Complete additional assignments from the Payroll Manager

Qualifications for Success
What It Takes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations

  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and taxation

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (required)

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with global payroll operations

  • Background supporting payroll system enhancements or process improvements

  • Familiarity with ADP tax services

  • Experience working in a technology or high-growth company

Working Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Foster City, CA.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 3 days onsite required.

You’ll join a collaborative payroll team supporting a company that is preparing to scale from development to broader operational launch.
