Responsibilities

Daily Expectations for Your Role

• Monitoring autonomous vehicles in real-time, providing remote guidance to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Taking control of vehicles in complex scenarios, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

• Gathering performance metrics and reporting observations, contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and tools.

• Providing feedback on system usability, helping optimize the operator interface and enhance vehicle performance.

• Collaborating with engineering, product, and operations teams to refine processes and tools that support autonomous vehicle operations.

• Maintaining operational excellence, following established protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.

Qualifications for Success
What It Takes

Minimum Requirements:

• A clean driving history and no criminal history.

• At least 2 years of experience in operations, technical support, software testing, or a related field.

• Technical proficiency in Windows and Linux systems and a basic understanding of QA testing principles.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A flexible approach to scheduling and the ability to work varying shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or QA testing.

• A Bachelor’s degree in STEM, analytics, or a related field.

• Basic data analysis skills to assist with performance metrics and reporting.

• Familiarity with video game-style controls or simulation software.

Working Environment

This is a full-time, 6-month ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Foster City, CA, requiring onsite presence. The role offers the following schedule options:

• AM Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Wednesday – Sunday

  • Thursday – Monday

  • Friday – Tuesday

  • Sunday – Thursday

• PM Shift: 

  • 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

  • Wednesday – Sunday

  • Thursday – Monday

  • Friday – Tuesday

  • Sunday – Thursday
