This is an entry-level role for strong writers and analytical thinkers who want to test AI behavior across complex or sensitive scenarios. You’ll design prompts, review model outputs, flag potential issues, and document findings clearly, helping shape the next generation of AI systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured analysis, creative problem-solving, and contributing to AI safety in a collaborative, remote environment.

Core Attributes – What You Bring to the Table

  • Analytical thinker – You can identify errors, unsafe outputs, and edge-case behaviors in AI-generated content.

  • Strong writer – Excellent command of English grammar and style; able to document findings clearly and professionally.

  • Detail-oriented – You follow structured templates, rubrics, and scorecards to ensure consistent, high-quality results.

  • Flexible and reliable – You can manage variable workloads, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Curious about AI – You have an interest in AI, ML, and their societal impact, and enjoy learning through hands-on experience.

Responsibilities – Daily Expectations for Your Role

  • Create original prompts to test AI models and applications in complex or safety-sensitive scenarios.

  • Review, assess, and rank AI outputs for accuracy, safety, and quality across text, image, video, audio, and agentic behaviors.

  • Identify factual errors, misleading claims, or unsafe outputs, and document issues with concise rationales.

  • Communicate findings professionally, following writing and format standards.

  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors to meet quality standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications for Success – What It Takes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent writing-centric experience.

  • Excellent written communication and professional documentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and structured judgment using templates, rubrics, and scorecards.

  • Comfortable working with sensitive or graphic material.

  • Reliable, responsive, and able to manage deadlines in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in writing-intensive fields (journalism, editing, copywriting, education).

  • Familiarity with content moderation, gaming, digital communities, or technology-driven projects.

  • Interest in AI/ML, digital ethics, and evaluating algorithmic outputs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $29.50/hour

  • Full-time contract role (30+ hours/week)

  • Remote position (U.S. only, excluding California)

  • Opportunity to contribute to AI safety and work with a growing, mission-driven team
