Our client is looking for a Labeling Technician to support the development of next-generation autonomous vehicle systems by maintaining and validating high-definition road network data. In this role, you’ll annotate, refine, and troubleshoot mapping content to ensure the vehicle’s perception of the world matches reality.

Responsibilities
Daily Expectations for Your Role

  • Create and update semantic road network data to support autonomous vehicle navigation

  • Validate that map content aligns with real-world geometry and complies with internal standards

  • Monitor and address environmental or “world change” events to keep data current

  • Review and analyze mapping data to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve map-related issues or discrepancies

  • Meet project deadlines while contributing to broader team goals

Qualifications for Success
What It Takes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality

  • Experience interpreting spatial or geographic information

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet critical deadlines

  • Clear communication skills and comfort working in a team environment

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data labeling, annotation, or map QA/QC

  • Familiarity with geospatial data, cartography, or GIS systems

  • Interest in robotics, autonomous technology, or digital mapping

Working Environment

This is a full-time, ongoing contract role staffed via our recruiting team. The position is onsite in Foster City, CA and follows a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week). You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team working on the core infrastructure behind autonomous mobility.
