Our client is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to assist EV drivers in utility-connected programs. You’ll respond to questions, resolve issues, and share user insights to help improve the overall experience. You’ll play a key role in helping EV drivers participate in utility-connected programs and contribute to a cleaner, more resilient energy grid.

Responsibilities
Daily Expectations for Your Role

  • Respond to EV driver inquiries via email and other communication channels, following support guidelines and SLAs

  • Escalate urgent or complex issues to the appropriate team members in a timely manner

  • Identify missing resources or content that could help drivers self-resolve issues more easily

  • Log and document user issues to assist engineering and product teams in resolving bugs and UX problems

  • Summarize key driver feedback and share recurring themes with internal stakeholders

  • Track user sentiment indicators such as CSAT, ticket resolution times, and issue trends

Qualifications for Success
What It Takes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with customer support platforms (e.g., Zendesk) and productivity tools (e.g., Google Docs, JIRA)

  • Proficiency in data entry and tracking tools such as Excel or Google Sheets

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex issues clearly

  • Comfort working in environments with shifting priorities and loosely defined requirements

  • Strong organizational habits and attention to structure in daily work

  • Enthusiasm for helping users and acting on their feedback 

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer support, operations, or community-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for decarbonization, sustainability, or climate tech

  • Experience working in a mission-driven, high-growth tech company

  • Familiarity with EV technology or the energy/utilities space

Working Environment

This is a 6-month contract position staffed via our recruiting team. The role is based in San Francisco, CA and follows a hybrid work model, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays (2 days/week). You’ll join a mission-driven team passionate about clean energy, EV adoption, and building driver-first solutions that integrate seamlessly with the power grid.
