About the Role

We’re hiring a Robotics Pilot to support hands-on robotics data collection in San Francisco. In this role, you’ll operate robotic arms to perform repetitive manipulation tasks involving everyday objects while capturing and labeling the high-quality data used to train AI and robotics models.

You’ll work in an onsite lab environment alongside engineering and research teams, helping monitor data quality, identify issues, maintain equipment, and keep daily data collection running smoothly. This role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive hands-on work, and able to maintain focus and consistency throughout an eight-hour shift.

Core Attributes

Operational Consistency: You can perform repetitive tasks accurately and maintain the same level of focus and quality throughout a full shift.

Attention to Detail: You notice data quality issues, inconsistencies, and equipment concerns and communicate them clearly.

Hands-On Comfort: You enjoy working directly with physical equipment and everyday objects in a structured lab environment.

Reliability: You show up prepared, follow established procedures, and can be counted on to complete assigned data collection work consistently.

Positive Work Ethic: You bring a constructive attitude to repetitive work and remain engaged throughout the day.

Process Discipline: You can follow task instructions carefully while maintaining accurate data labeling and organized workflows.

Team Communication: You communicate observations and issues clearly to engineers, researchers, and other team members supporting the operation.
