RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Expectations for Your Role
As a Customer-Centric Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring safe, smooth, and high-quality operations. Your core responsibilities include:
Interacting with riders and internal teams (Operations and Test & Validation) to provide a seamless and professional experience.
Executing detailed test cases while operating autonomous vehicles in a variety of environments and conditions.
Providing valuable feedback on vehicle performance, comfort, and rider experience to support ongoing product improvements.
Conducting thorough daily safety inspections to ensure each vehicle meets operational and safety standards.
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness—interior and exterior—to ensure every ride is presented at a high standard.
Adhering to all traffic laws and company driving protocols, and reporting any incidents or safety concerns promptly.
Meticulously documenting daily activities, including test results, rider interactions, and any anomalies observed.
Supporting your team with related tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications for Success
Your experience and qualifications will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective operation of autonomous vehicles. We're looking for candidates who bring the following:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
At least 3 years of driving experience.
Must be at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and assist passengers in wheelchairs when needed.
Comfortable operating and riding in autonomous vehicles.
Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented, process-driven mindset.
Clear and concise documentation and reporting abilities.
Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to new technologies or procedures.
A technical background in electronics, mechanical systems, or computer operations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in customer service or other public-facing roles.
Exposure to or familiarity with autonomous vehicle technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Please Note: This is a contract position staffed via our employer of record.
Schedule
Schedule: Flexible hours between 7 AM–7 PM, 7 days a week. Full-time and part-time shifts are available:
Full-time: 30–40 hours/week
Part-time: 2–3 shifts/week
TRAINING
Candidates must be available to commit to 1 week of mandatory onsite training, Monday–Friday from 8 AM–3 PM (for part-time candidates, training will be Monday–Friday from 8 AM–1 PM).
Important Notes
This is an on-site position and requires candidates to be local to the Atlanta, GA area.
A 1-week mandatory in-person training is required: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–3 PM (Part-Time: 8 AM–1 PM).
The client has a strict no-phone policy during driving shifts.
Former Lyft drivers may be considered (pending clearance), but current Lyft drivers are ineligible.
